VeYol 6C is a versatile polyol. It is not only mild, safe, highly water-soluble and offers excellent moisturizing properties, but also nearly colorless and odorless as well as it exhibits good chemical stability and hardly reacts with other chemical ingredients. In personal care products, it provides effective auxiliary preservative effects and enhances the efficacy of other preservatives, as well as increase the antibacterial broad-spectrum of preservatives, and increases their solubility in water. It provides high purity, extremely high-cost performance.

Due to its exceptional bacteriostatic capability at low usage levels, it is commonly used as a traditional preservative alternative, such as parabens or phenoxyethanol, and is often combined with other novel alternative preservatives.
